A perfect summer night’s story starts with Books Beneath the Bridge. Nearly 5,000 people have attended the series since 2012 and gathered around Martin Amis, Patti Smith, Colson Whitehead, and Paul Auster to hear them read their words first-hand. Throughout July and August, six Monday nights will feature authors, representing six of Brooklyn’s best independent bookstores. Each evening will include readings, discussions, signings, and much more, as inspired by each author and our program sponsors.
