Coplanet International, with the sponsorship of the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations, is organizing an international conference entitled “Celebrate Earth: Sustainable Living, Meditation and Yoga” at the United Nations Headquarters in NYC on 19 May 2017 from 6-9PM.

This event will be a continuation of the ‘UN International Day of Yoga’, which was proclaimed by the United Nations on 11 December 2014 (Resolution 69/131), to be celebrated on 21 June every year. Special guest Ms. Yogmata Keiko Aikawa, the first female and non-Indian Siddha Master in history, will be gracing the event as the keynote speaker to promote methods of meditation that develop Mindfulness and that facilitate individual awareness.

Ms. Yogmata Keiko Aikawa and other guest speakers will aim to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of yoga, an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in the Indian sub-continent. Since December 2016, yoga has been declared an “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO.

At the event, 10 people will be randomly selected to receive a copy of Yogmata’s book! Of those 10, 5 will be randomly selected to receive an autograph, a picture with Yogmata and an official blessing from the master herself! Register for Free before tickets run out!

Come be a part of this conference to learn how some of the leaders in the world of yoga are spreading the ideas of peace and sustainability through their craft.
