Get My Goat!

October 27, 2013 @ 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm

$30

 For fans of Slow Food;

“The Farm on Adderley and Slow Food NYC are pleased to present a tribute feast to goat, a truly under-appreciated culinary hero. Goat is the most widely consumed meat in the world yet it is uncommon for many of us in the US to eat it as part of our day-to-day diet.

We’ll be pouring cider in honor of the closing night of Cider Week along with New York wines and draft beer.

The menu for the dinner will feature all things goat: roasted goat, goat cheese, goat’s milk! Sources will include: Apple Tree Goat Dairy, Four Brothers Dairy, Consider Bardwell and goat meat sourced from Heritage Foods as part of their “No Goat Left Behind” program. Reps from the organization will be on-hand to answer any and all questions.

There will be live music, too!

Four blocks down from the Cortelyou Rd. stop on the Q trian. Doors are open from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Feel free to arrive anytime in that window!”
