GrowNYC is going to be greening up the Summer Streets event for 3 weekends, August 2nd, 9th, and 16th, and we need our excellent team of volunteers to help us with recycling bin monitoring and education at our GrowNYC OROE table.

There will be rock climbing, zip lines, free bike rentals, and lots of free giveaways with a 7 mile stretch of car-free Park Ave open to bikes, skates, and joggers. Volunteers can choose between 2 shifts, 7:00am-10:30am, or 10:00am-1:30pm.

Bring a friend, bring your roller skates, and come enjoy the summer with us!

Prospective volunteers must first register in order to sign up for activities. Note: volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
