Moonlight Ride – Prospect Park

July 7, 2017 @ 9:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Free

Join us as we discover Prospect Park at night. Prospect Park is a 526-acre urban oasis located in the heart of Brooklyn.

The Prospect Park Moonlight Ride is opened to bikers and skilled skaters. Meet at 9 p.m., Grand Army Plaza, on the second Saturday of the month, every month. This is a safe, peaceful ride that visits many of the little-known treasures the park has to offer. (There is also a Central Park Moonlight Ride.)

Rain at 8:45 pm cancels the ride, period. Snow is good!!!

If you want to race, this is NOT the ride for you. The ride is at night, and it gets dark amongst all the trees in Prospect Park, so bring your favorite bike — the one with lights.

Grand Army Plaza is at the northern entrance of Prospect Park where Flatbush Ave., Eastern Pkwy, Union St. and Prospect Park West all intersect.

There are maps of Prospect Park online, one from the Prospect Park Alliance (HTML, Flash, and PDF Format) and one from the Brooklyn Bird Club
