Do you have agricultural experience? Are you interested in starting your own sustainable farm? FARMroots wants to work with you! This Monday, join FARMroots staff and other aspiring farmers as we visit to the oldest continuously farmed plot of land in New York at the Queens County Farm Museum! We’ll tour the farm with a recent graduate of our Farm Beginnings training course, learn more about how the New Farmer Development can help YOU start a farm business, and get our hands dirty with some on-farm activities. Free transportation from GrowNYC’s office in Manhattan and free lunch at Queens County Farm Museum! Just bring a good pair of shoes/boots and sun protection!

RSVP to Maria Rojas at mrojas@grownyc.org. For more information on our project please visit www.grownyc.org/farmroots/nfd
