SPEAKERS:
Daisy Chung: A longtime advocate for climate justice; campaign director for ALIGN (The Alliance for a Greater NY) and the leader of its “Climate Works For All” project, organizing worker, community and other allies to build a more just and sustainable New York.

Stephen Pekar: Prof. of Geology, Queens College; a scholar of past climate and oceanographic changes (going back 45 million years); investigator of the current crisis, joining expeditions around the world, including four to Antarctica; respected climatologist and PSC activist.

Elizabath Yeampierre: A nationally recognized attorney, advocate and community organizer for just, sustainable development and environmental justice; Executive Director of UPROSE, Brooklyn’s oldest Latino community based organization; the first Latina Chair of the U.S. EPA National Environmental Justice Advisory Council; speaker at White House forums.
