Slow Food New York City is holding its inaugural Food & Farm Policy Roundtable to discuss the rights New York citizens have as consumers when it comes to knowing how their food is produced. We will take on thorny issues, such as GMO labeling and the use of antibiotics in food animals. Speakers will include Consumer Reports director of Consumer Safety and Sustainability, Dr. Urvashi Rangan, and Campaign Director for GMO Free NY, Stacie Orell. See more information about the event and Slow Food here.
