Become a Recycling Expert in your community!

Join GrowNYC for an engaging, interactive orientation to learn about NYC’s recycling program and how to teach others how easy it is to start recycling properly. From food scrap composting to textile collection to community swaps, GrowNYC’s Office of Recycling Outreach and Education (OROE) covers all the ways to go green.

Meet environmentally-conscious people and learn how you can help increase recycling in NYC by volunteering with us. Refreshments will be served.

Seating is limited; please register to join! Orientation is open to all; however, GrowNYC volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
