The School of Constructed Environments (SCE) at Parsons presents, Waste Not 6: Cyclifiers, hosted by Ioanna Theocharopoulou, Assistant Professor of Interior Design, and featuring Jan Jongert, co-founder of Superuse Studios.

In this talk, Jan Jongert presents Superuse Studios, developing from a design office using waste flows into a multidisciplinary creative studio exploring the circular economy. He shows how realizing small scale design, buildings, start-ups, collaborative networks, urban plans, and digital tools contribute to the development of a new resource-based design practice.

This SCE event is part of the Waste Not series, which highlights how some of the most innovative designers today are engaged in formulating new approaches to the question of “waste”. The series explores whether it’s “re-use” or “super-use”, “up-cycling” or “retrofitting”.
