The phrase “housing crisis” has been floating around popular discourse a lot over the past few years. In the Museum of Modern Art‘s new exhibition Foreclosed: Rehousing the American Dream, the work of five different teams of architects, planners, ecologists, and engineers is on display, looking at new approaches to transform the sprawling suburban America into a better place to live. The exhibit is about finding new, creative ways to meet the housing needs of the country in a way that the current housing stock cannot. You can read more about the exhibit at Architectural Record and New York Magazine. The exhibit will be up through July 30.
