GrowNYC is going to be greening up the Summer Streets event for 3 weekends, August 2nd, 9th, and 16th, and we need our excellent team of volunteers to help us with recycling bin monitoring and education at our GrowNYC OROE table.
Summer Streets takes over Park Avenue again on August 17th, so be sure to relish in the summer festivities before fall finds itself back in the Big Apple.
For three Saturdays in August, the city opened lengths of Park Avenue and other normally busy thoroughfares for people and bikes. And salsa, tai chi, double-dutch and ziplines.
