DESCRIPTION:Lower East Side Ecology Center’s spring e-waste recycling events are back! They’ll be in all five boroughs this month collecting unwanted electronics for free\, responsible reuse and recycling. All participants will be eligible to enter a raffle for a Macbook Air courtesy of Tekserve. \nTekserve will also be offering recyclers who come to events a “Green Karma” Coupon worth between $5 and $500 off any products or services from Tekserve and entry into a raffle to win a MacBook Air.  Zipcar is offering existing Zipcar members a $15 driving credit for bringing electronics to these events. \nLESEC will accept working & non-working computers\, monitors\, printers\, scanners\, keyboards\, mice\, cables\, TV’s\, VCR’s\, DVD players\, phones\, audio/visual equipment\, cell phones\, and video gaming equipment. they do not accept any household appliances including microwaves and other kitchen appliances. \nFor full listing of events click here\, and for more program and data security information check their FAQs.
