DESCRIPTION:Subway workers in New York (between 1910 and 1915) Photo by Library of Congress \nJoin Atlas Obscura for an evening with the New York Transit Museum and author Doug Most as he delves into the history of the first subways and the saga of their late 19th century development. Guest reception begins at 5:30PM and will be followed by the reading and discussion\, 6:30 – 8:00PM \nAdvance tickets recommended. \nThe New York Transit Museum is located in Brooklyn Heights at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street.
