Like the National Day of Action in 2015\, September 8th is about more than just numbers; it’s about telling the story of climate\, jobs\, and justice; it’s about showing that to change everything\, it takes everyone – including you; and it’s about committing to make climate action a part of the national dialogue in November\, in the months that follow\, and well into 2019 and 2020.

Learn how to lead without relying on authority\, telling people what to do\, or common ineffective techniques that provoke resistance. Attendees will develop skills in leading themselves and others\, measurably reducing campus waste\, lowering costs\, and preparing themselves for greater leadership roles at NYU and in the rest of their lives. \nABOUT THE SPEAKER: \nJoshua Spodek\, bestselling author of Leadership Step by Step\, is an Adjunct Professor at NYU\, leadership coach and workshop leader for Columbia Business School\, columnist for Inc.\, and founder of SpodekAcademy.com. \nHe has led seminars in leadership\, entrepreneurship\, creativity\, and sales at Harvard\, Princeton\, MIT\, INSEAD\, the New York Academy of Science\, and in private corporations. He holds five Ivy League degrees\, including a PhD in Astrophysics and an MBA\, and studied under a Nobel Prize winner.
