History Tour: Natives and Newcomers RSVP

August 7, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

This summer, the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy is hosting a series of history tours. Explore colonial New York with this lecture on “Natives and Newcomers.”

Excerpt from the program:

“What happens when cultures collide? Learn about the early relations between Dutch colonists and local Lenape clans. With the aid of authentic replicas from the museum’s touch collection, this talk will explore how this often fractious relationship shaped the city we live in today.”

Guide: Allyson Schettino, New-York Historical Society
