The Earth Institute’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) annual Public Lecture Series presents Air, Water and Stone: Lowering CO2 through Sequestration,” with David Goldberg, Lamont Research Professor, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, The Earth Institute, Columbia University.

One of the best options for slowing atmospheric CO2 release is carbon capture and sequestration. Considering a global CO2 management approach such as this will require considerable investment and commitment to scientific research, engineering development, and new regulatory policy. Join us as Lamont Research Professor David Goldberg explains an option for the secure capture of CO2 in vast geological repositories that could mitigate carbon release to the environment for many centuries, well away from material and human risks.
