Learn the ropes of recording a timelapse video with a Canon Powershot point and shoot, a great alternative to braving the elements during a take.The Gowanus E-waste Warehouse will provide all those who do not own a Canon Powershot the ability to use a reused one for the purpose of the workshop. If a workshop participant so wishes, they may purhase a camera. We allow participants to retain personal footage captured regardless of purchase.

Instructor and artist Chris Jordan (timelapse sample here) explores the medium of light, movement, and time through the use of technology. His installations have appeared at the Moma, The New Museum, The Whitney, The Museum of Natural History, The Chelsea Museum, Times Square, numerous galleries and clubs; and theincidental spaces inbetween.
