EcoSessions : Innovations in Textiles

Innovations in textiles are an industry must if we are to create a healthy and sustainable future. This EcoSessions will gather leaders in the latest in advanced (regenerative and sustainable) technologies. Join us on Tuesday, September 13 to hear from: Giulio Bonazzi (Aquafil- regenerating nylon), Sylvia Heisel (HEISEL- 3D printing) and Maia Wojcik (INDX/Fashion Tech Forum- wearable tech). Giulio Bonazzi: Chairman and CEO Aquafil. Since 1969, Aquafil has been one of the leading players, both in Italy and globally, in the production of polyamide 6. Sylvia Heisel: Founder HEISEL. HEISEL uses new technology based materials and manufacturing methods to make sustainable clothes, accessories and things.
Maia Wojcik: Co-Founder Fashion Tech Forum and INDX. Fashion Tech Forum is an annual conference hosting 800+ executives from the fashion and technology communities, including CEOs, founders, creative directors, investors, and disrupters.

Recognized as an expert in ethical fashion and sustainable living, Kate Black is the founder of Magnifeco.com (launched ’09) and author of ‘Magnifeco: Your Head-to-Toe Guide to Ethical Fashion and Non-Toxic Beauty’ (published ’15), which has been featured in The Guardian, Vogue Italia, Metro, NOW Magazine and more.
