SWALE: A floating edible forest docked at Brooklyn Bridge Park
November 11, 2016 @ 11:00 am - November 13, 2016 @ 6:00 pm
FreeSwale, a floating food forest built on a 130-foot by 40-foot barge made from repurposed shipping containers by artist Mary Matting, will be docked for just a few short days (until November 13th) at Brooklyn Bridge Park‘s Pier 6. Mary Mattingly welcomes New Yorkers to come aboard and sample the various foods growing in her food forest and learn about urban agriculture.
Swale will be open to the public between 11am and 6pm until November 13. You can find it docked at the Brooklyn Bridge Park‘s Pier 6.
