Animal Architecture (Grades 3-5)
Have you ever been curious about where animals live? Students will explore how animals build their homes by observing structures such as nests, ant colonies, shells, and dams. We will use this as inspiration to create our own animal architecture designs!
Studio@theCenter 3-day vacation programs run Tuesday through Thursday, 9am-4pm at the Center for Architecture. Each week explores a different topic in architecture through art and building activities, design challenges and related field trips. Students bring their own lunch daily.
Programs are for students currently in grades 3-12. Classes are limited to 16 students; 10 students for Digital Design classes.
A limited number of need-based partial scholarships are available. Scholarship Applications are due by January 15 for the February programs, February 15 for the March programs, and March 15 for the April programs.
