The Movie explores the incredible impact of this ancient, simple stable “superfood” by following the stories of three very different restaurateurs in Israel who find common ground n the love of this delicious food. Join us for a screening of this award-winning film followed by a Q&A with the executive producers and a special tasting of assorted hummus.

Hummus! The Movie is a Jerusalem University film that incorporates everything from the Guinness World Record for “The World’s Largest Serving of Hummus,” to a French Benedictine Monk of a mission to find the world’s tastiest chickpeas, to a hip hop musician convinced of the geopolitical power of the meal in a masterful compilation that has won 10 international film awards.

Mitch Julis, Executive Producer of Hummus! The Movie is Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and Co-CEO of Canyon Partners, LLC.  He is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Business School.

Raphael Shore is an accomplished filmmaker and the producer of the critically-acclaimed films Beneath the Helmet, Israel Inside, and Crossing the Line.
