As part of its Resiliency Speaker Series, join Rockaway Waterfront Alliance and the New York City Compost Project to learn how to compost in your backyard or community garden. 

This workshop will cover compost recipes, elements, basic tools and site designs in order to successfully compost your garden waste and food scraps. It will also include a hands on activity to engage participants in learning how to build balanced compost piles out of the materials available in your community.
