To make an active contribution toward advancing SDGs, it is important to promote the SDGs in the context of each country’s specific culture and customs. The FOUNAP is highlighting Japanese leadership initiatives in promoting the SDGs, with focus on three related topics:

• Promoting the SDGs at a municipal level;
• Business and technology leadership;
• Promoting women’s empowerment in the workplace and society.
