The Center for Architecture, home of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York Chapter is having a lecture tonight headed by professor Noël Carrol, renowned figure in the philosophy of contemporary art. Among the topics to be discussed will be what does it mean for architecture to have a language and how is that language used to communicate ideas about architecture, the built environment, and social norms?
