Interested in a look at some forward thinking architecture? This year marks the 30th annual Emerging Voices series at the Architectural League of New York, where they have showcased up-and-coming players in North American Architecture. “Emerging Voices spotlights individuals and firms based in the United States, Canada, or Mexico with distinct design voices and the potential to influence the disciplines of architecture, landscape design, and urbanism.” It is a four part series starting on Friday March 2, highlighting a couple different firms each week. While all of them sound interesting, the March 9 event features SCAPE / Landscape Architecture, the firm that designed the East Harlem 103rd Street Community Garden. All the events will be held at 7:00 pm in the Rose Auditorium at The Cooper Union. Tickets are $10 for non Architectural League members.
