Keeping Citi Bike(r )s alive
While the excellent safety record has been a major success for the Citi Bike program, its economics are less encouraging.
Gabriela is a full-time graduate student at Rutgers University, Bloustein School of Policy and Planning. She is a candidate for a Masters of City and Regional Planning and plans to have concentrations in transportation planning and physical planning/environmental. She is currently an intern at the NYC Department of Homeless Services in the Policy and Planning unit.
Besides her academic interests she loves art, travelling and outdoor activities!

In line with Vision Zero, the recent city initiative to reduce traffic-related injuries and deaths, on June 23 Mr. de Blasio signed 11 new traffic bills into law which are designed to tighten traffic enforcement and traffic data collection efforts.
