2016 BF+DA Positive Impact Awards

FreeCelebrate the BF+DA’s second birthday Friday, November 4, 2016, 7 pm-10 pm (VIP and member preview at 6 pm), at the Brooklyn Fashion+Design Accelerator for the 2nd Annual Positive Impact Awards. The gala will serve as a who’s who of ethical fashion and honor pioneers in the sustainable fashion industry including ethical powerhouses Patagonia, EILEEN FISHER and Canopy Planet as well as rock star collaborator, the Sustainable Apparel Coalition.

In addition to the awards, 20 of the BF+DA’s social innovation Venture Fellows will have their studios open for shopping. The ceremony will take place at the BF+DA with an expected audience of 500 advocates who share the BF+DA mission to redefine the fashion industry to benefit the environment and society, including NYC fashion elite and emerging designers.
Just in: We will also be showing support for Patagonia’s #VoteOurPlanet initiative and will have Patagonia in the house talking about the importance of voting for the environment on November 8th. We will also be showing a short Patagonia film and offering information to attendees on New York’s environmental issues and information on the politicians supporting air, soil and water.
