The 2nd Annual Northwest Queens Food Day at the Socrates Sculpture Park will include cooking demonstrations, community food advocacy and youth planting workshops, composting demos, the first growNYC Greenmarket of the season, and more. Many local organizations and businesses are taking part in this day and working together to increase community access to fresh and affordable food. All activities are free and open to the public. The day, in partnership with Socrates’ annual Bike Parade, is a program of the Queens Action Council (QuAC).
