A GLOBAL CLIMATE TREATY: WHY THE U.S. MUST LEAD
Saturday, September 20, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street, first floor auditorium. Admission $10. Tickets will be available on EventBrite in August.

In September, world leaders will meet in NYC for a UN summit on climate change. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is calling on world governments to commit to an ambitious, legally binding agreement in 2015 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This program will focus on why we need an international treaty and why it is critical to mobilize support to demand that the U.S. assume a leading role in the treaty negotiations.
