Children and youth are important agents of change and have unique insights towards the actions that are needed to ensure no one is left behind by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

This child led interactive event will create critical space during the HLPF for young people to share their reflections on the steps required to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals over the next 13 years. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a constructive dialogue with children and youth from Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, India, Jordan and the USA who are committed to ending poverty and ensuring gender equality in their communities and countries around the world. These young people will also share their recommendations for how children specifically can be better included in decision making and monitoring processes at global and national levels.
