The free Central Park Conservancy Film Festival screens classics just north of the Sheep Meadow (enter the park at West 72nd Street). Bring a blanket and a picnic basket and come early to snag a good spot (gates open at 6:30pm; movies start at 8pm). The 2015 lineup comprises five classics from the year 1980: Fame, The Blues Brothers, Airplane!, Raging Bull andSuperman II. About an hour before each movie screens, there will be a live DJ performance.
