May 22, 2013 @ 7:45 am - 5:00 pm

May 22nd, the New Jersey Climate Adaptation Alliance talks climate change from sunup to sundown with the some of field’s most important players. Hosted by the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, the conference will survey climate preparedness and resilience activities underway in New Jersey, as well as the goings-on of fellow climate adaptation organizations throughout the country.

Panelists include:

  • Margaret Davidson, Director, NOAA Coastal Services Center
  • Michael A. McGeehin, Former Division Director, National Center for Environmental Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  • Bruce Stein, Director Climate Adaptation, National Wildlife Federation
  • Paul Fleming, Manager Climate and Sustainability Group Seattle Public Utilities and Chair, Water Utility Climate Alliance

Davidson, McGeehin, Stein, and Fleming among a slew of climate change experts will think collectively on a topic that has taken the hot seat locally and nationally, in hopes of enhancing climate change adaptation capacity in New Jersey.
