The Science and Resilience Institute at Jamaica Bay presents a Summer Lecture Series. This week’s lecture will feature John Marra of of CUNY Brooklyn College speaking about “Disturbance on the Bay: The Long and Short of It.” He will discuss the long-term changes to Jamaica Bay and their likely effects on the Bay’s resilience, as well as some of the notable short-term shocks.
