In this lecture, Susanne E. DesRoches, who is Assistant Chief of Resilience and Sustainability at the Port Authority, will focus on how sustainability practitioners integrate climate risk in making capital investments in large-scale infrastructure. The lecture will focus on the resilience efforts underway in New York City; although the strategies identified for managing climate risk will be applicable to other locations, and to both public organizations and private firms.
