Explore the hidden environmental and health costs of powering “the city that never sleeps.” In a series of three programs featuring experts in New York City transit, the urban environment, and our culture of convenience, participants will delve into our long and complex relationship with cars, cooling, and plastics. The series is co-presented and developed in collaboration with The New York Academy of Medicine, and is supported by a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities.
