See NYC Oyster Project, the upcoming multimedia installation at 99 Plymouth, on DUMBO’s First Thursday Gallery Walk. First Thursday is a monthly event during which galleries around the neighborhood open their exhibitions for public viewing in the evening. The NYC Oyster Project features color photographs of Colleen Flanigan’s underwater sculptures and an installation of Judith Pleva’s unbound multimedia scrapbook. Flanigan and Pleva’s work illuminates the beauty of marine life as well as the relationships between organisms in New York City’s waterways.

The opening of NYC Oyster Project takes place on June’s First Thursday, with talks by the artists from 5:00 to 7:00pm. 99 Plymouth will remain open for the rest of the First Thursday event, until 9:00pm. Light refreshments will be served.
