We are excited for you to join our Hands-On-Hort Workshop, focusing on Fungi. Led by expert the New York Mycological Society, this workshop will explore the hidden world of fungus. Visitors of all ages will be able to learn more about the fungal specimens that are crucial to keeping a healthy ecosystem.

The New York Mycological Society is nonprofit organization whose interest in mycology, or the study of mushrooms and fungi, includes mycophagy: the eating of mushrooms. They are both informed and passionate about fungi, and raise awareness about their cause through informative workshops such as this one.

All ages are welcome to join us for our series of hands-on workshops led by industry professionals. Have fun while discovering something new and interesting at each workshop! Scheduled on the third Sunday of each Month, May-August, 12pm-3pm, this program is free and open to all, rain or shine.
