Hidden Harbor boat tours about the impacts of Sandy and future plans

June 18, 2013 @ 6:05 pm - 8:30 pm

$39

There is no doubt that Hurricane Sandy has left its mark on New York City. Although the city is recovering from the physical damages Sandy has inflicted, there is still a lot to be done. How to better protect ourselves from future storms is a discussion we cannot avoid due to the increasing frequency of these super storms.

Come to the Hidden Harbor boat tours to learn about what actions are being proposed to better protect our city. Speakers will include members from government agencies, private industries, think tanks, universities, and other experts.

There are only two tour dates left:

Tour 1 – High seas on the inner harbor: from Wall Street to Snug Harbor

Tuesday, June 18th

Tour 2 – Fire, floods and floating containers: East River – Hell Gate to Governors Island

Tuesday, June 25th

*Tours board fifteen minutes before scheduled sail time.
