Lower East Side Ecology Center Summer Party

- This annual benefit party for the Lower East Side Ecology Center will be held at the Fireboat House in East River Park. The event will be honoring Barry Benepe, founder of the Greenmarket Farmer’s Market, and Robert LaValva, founder of the New Amsterdam market. Support the Ecology Center and bid on great prizes like a brand new bike from Recycle-a-Bicycle, a stay at Ace Hotel New York, a print by Kiki Smith, dinner at the Pickle Shack, day passes for New York Water Taxi, a paddle on the Pepacton Reservoir with NYC H2O, and lots more! Featuring donated deliciousness from local food emporiums including Angelica’s Kitchen, Back Forty, Caravan of Dreams,City Bakery, Habana Outpost, Jimmy’s No.43, Neuman’s Kitchen, Northern Spy,Organic Grill, Poco, and Union Market.
Tickets $60 in advance and $75 at the door.
