The Lower East Side Ecology Center, Media education non-profit MIRA, and the East River Park Coalition are joining forces once again to explore the history, art and culture of the Lower East Side and East River Park through an exciting story-based Scavenger Hunt on May 21. The event is open to all people age 12 and over.

The hunt will engage participants to discover some famous and lesser-known features of the Lower East Side and its waterfront in East River Park. The public is invited to meet Scavenger Hunt leaders at the NW corner of Canal and Essex Streets – just outside the East Broadway F Train Station – for a 2 hour romp through one of America’s most historic neighborhoods. A Smartphone is required to log and transmit photos of Lower East Side landmarks found On the Hunt.
