NYC Audubon Summer EcoCruise

$40This summer, NYC Audubon is offering eco-cruises that will gave great views of such birds as the Black-Crowned Night-Heron, Glossy Ibis, Double-Crested Cormorant, Egret, and many more! There will be three distinct tours: Jamaica Bay, Brothers Island, and Bridges & Birds.
Departures are from Pier 16 in historic South Street Seaport in Downtown Manhattan.
On the tour of Brothers Island you will get close views of egret colonies, see building ruins on North Brother Island, and have great views of Manhattan skyline at sunset. Birds you may see on this tour include: Great egrets, American oystercatchers and much more! This tour is $40 for adults, and $30 for children. It will take place on June 22 and August 3, and runs from 7:00-9:00 pm.
Tour of Jamaica Bay are upcoming on July 6th, August 10th, and August 17th. Visit the New York Harbor and see the many islands of the huge Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, nesting osprey, and all wading bird species. Birds you may see on this tour include: Osprey Peregrine falcons, Willets, and other shorebirds.
The Bridges and Birds EcoCruise will be on July 20th and 27th. This tour includes great views of Statue of Liberty, Governors Island and the Verrazano Bridge. Birds you may see on this tour include: Great egrets, Snowy egrets, Little blue herons, Black-crowned night herons, and Yellow-crowned night-herons.
