Plumb Beach is part of Gateway National Recreation Area, and is located 3 miles east of Coney Island on Jamaica Bay. Its beautiful and diverse scenery contains precious marine, salt marsh, and beach dune habitats.

The cleanup will run from 10am to 12pm. Lunch will be served for all volunteers at noon. At 12:30, we have a special treat. Naturalists Clay and Seth Wollney will lead a hands-on seining net adventure . We’ll get to see close-up some of the creatures that live in Jamaica Bay!

We advise bringing water, sunscreen and hat.
