Renewable Energy and Public Policy: A Brownbag Seminar with Adam Wolfensohn

The Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College is hosting a brownbag seminar with Adam Wolfensohn, Managing Director at Wolfensohn & Co. and Roosevelt House Advisory Board Member, who will discuss renewable energy and its relationship to public policy.
Adam Wolfensohn is a Managing Director at Wolfensohn & Co. where he leads the firm’s environmental markets initiative as well as the firm’s efforts to invest in low carbon energy companies based in, or operating in emerging markets. Prior to Wolfensohn & Co, he managed the clean-tech portfolio for the Wolfensohn family office and produced the climate change documentary, “Everything’s Cool,” that debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007. He has also worked in carbon finance for avoided deforestation with Conservation International. He is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, directs environmental grant making for the Wolfensohn Family Foundation, and he sits on the board of numerous corporations and non-profits. Adam earned a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.E.M. from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
