For more than a decade, Solar One has been leading New Yorkers toward a more sustainable future, through our community solar initiatives, innovative programs in public and private schools, our outreach partnership with NYSERDA, our workforce training program, and even the events we run here in Stuyvesant Cove Park. Now we stand at the cusp of that future, with clean, locally-produced energy within the reach of every New Yorker.

And it seems fitting to celebrate this success with a Bavarian-style Oktoberfest party. Despite being situated north of the US, Germany has been an early adopter and strong leader, leading the way for everyone else in the developed world. So come drink a toast to solar power and join us for a ride on the carousel!

We will also have exciting news and information to share with you about our future plans for Solar One’s programs and for the Solar 2 building.
