The hills and creeks of the closed 2,200-acre Fresh Kills Landfill are beginning their transformation into NYC’s biggest and most fascinating new park, on Staten Island’s west shore.

At the fifth annual Sneak ‘Peek’, there will be live music, kayaking, a free bike share, kite flying, walking tours, scientific talks, rock climbing wall, public art and more! If you’ve never been to Freshkills Park – this is the day to visit!

Free shuttles will run from the Staten Island Ferry to the park for those coming via public transit and free parking is available at 250 Wild Avenue.
