Streams Beneath New York City

 “Urban streams serve a vital role in promoting sustainability by filtering and containing runoff, serving as linear park corridors and reminding us of nature’s presence in the city.”

Matt Malina, Director and Founder of NYC H2O will be speaking about NYC’s incredible water system.

Sergey Kadinsky, author of Hidden Waters of New York City will be signing books. His book discusses 101 bodies of water in the city, many buried, many above ground , as well as historical and current information about the areas  where they are located.
