Summer program at HSBC children’s garden at Queens Botanical Garden (every Monday – Thursday)

Come to the summer program at HSBC children’s garden at Queens Botanical Garden to let your children participate in a practical, hands-on experience to learn about science and nature! Children get to make salads from their spring vegetable plantings, use a solar oven to bake cookies, learn about climate and the environment, raise and release butterfiles, plant summer vegetables, scavenger hunts, build planters and terrariums, and many more! Children must be ages 5 through 12.
* The summer program is run two different sessions:
Summer I: July 8 – August 21, Monday and Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Summer II: July 9 – August 22, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
