Not that it’s just about the Bronx, but the South Bronx is an epicenter for the food and food justice movement. And the Point is a hub for it. Despite well known initiatives to green places like the South Bronx and and make healthy food more accessible, there seems to still be a long way to go.

Special guests include Karen Washington, the iconic urban farmer; Nicole Taylor, a southern food historian; LaDonna Redmond, a food policy activist; and Crystal Clarity, resident artivist for the day.
