In this hands-on workshop, the NYC Compost Project will introduce composting, demonstrate how to build an indoor worm bin, and go over basic care and maintenance.

Interested in building your worm bin with us? Participants are welcome to bring their own container and we’ll provide the tools to transform into a worm bin during the workshop. To do this you’ll need to bring your own shallow plastic storage container with lid (8-12″ deep) to be prepared during this session. If you are not interested in building your bin at the workshop, participants will receive a coupon to purchase a reduced price worm bin + 1 lb worms for $44.
